Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, contracts, project planning, execution, financial oversight, technical direction, change control, and leadership of project teams including subcontractors.
- Serve as primary client contact with accountability for successful project and program delivery, business growth, and proposal development for current and prospective clients.
- Lead technical aspects of dam safety projects, including structural analysis, design, failure mode assessments, risk evaluations, field inspections, construction monitoring, and regulatory compliance for concrete hydraulic structures.
- Oversee and coordinate field investigations for spillways, outlet works, and related civil infrastructure.
- Conduct quality control reviews and approve engineering outputs such as calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications prepared by other engineers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring effective management of resources, budgets, and risk to achieve project objectives.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across various dam safety engineering assignments.
- Ensure timely project delivery by managing timelines, staffing, expenditures, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and professional development support to early-career engineers.
- Demonstrate flexibility to travel part-time for project assignments and business development activities.
