Responsibilities
- Oversee project management duties including client relations, contracts, planning, execution, budgeting, technical oversight, change control, and coordination of internal teams and subcontractors.
- Serve as primary client contact, accountable for successful project delivery, business growth, and preparing proposals for both new and ongoing client engagements.
- Lead technical aspects of dam safety projects, including structural analysis, design, failure mode evaluation, risk assessment, field inspections, construction monitoring, and compliance for concrete hydraulic structures.
- Plan and manage field investigations for spillways, outlet works, and related civil infrastructure.
- Review and ensure quality control of engineering outputs such as calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications prepared by other engineers.
- Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure successful delivery, incorporating resource, budget, and risk management.
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary engineering teams across various dam safety initiatives.
- Coordinate scheduling efforts to align with project goals, financial constraints, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and professional development support to early-career engineers.
- Demonstrate flexibility for part-time travel in support of project assignments and business development activities.
