Responsibilities
- Perform and review structural analyses for diverse equipment such as pressure vessels, steel stacks, derrick frameworks, and piping systems.
- Collaborate within an engineering group to deliver technical input and resolve structural issues.
- Travel periodically to domestic or international destinations for project meetings or field inspections.
- Deliver technical talks to internal teams on structural engineering topics.
- Serve as a technical point of contact between U.S. and global engineering teams.
- Coordinate with project execution personnel to ensure structural designs use commercially available materials and components.
- Engage with drafting and production teams to develop structurally sound and easily manufacturable designs.
- Support Applications Engineers with structural expertise during the quotation process.
- Produce well-organized, accurate, and timely documentation for structural design deliverables.
- Apply fundamental engineering principles to solve complex technical problems.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in design processes.
