Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of bridge and structural design projects from planning through final design and construction support
- Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure high-quality project outcomes
- Serve as a technical mentor to engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and a culture of collaboration
- Partner with the Structural Engineering Group Manager to support team development, workload management, and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical engineering solutions
- Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and technical excellence across all project deliverables
- Contribute to proposal development, project pursuits, and client relationship-building efforts
- Help advance structural engineering practice through innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in bridge and structural design for transportation infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated success leading project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design standards, and applicable industry regulations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
