The Retail Store Associate position offers an exciting opportunity to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You'll work independently and as part of a team, making a real difference in people's lives. Essential Functions: • Provide standout customer service by anticipating needs, showing genuine compassion, and proactively resolving potential issues • Deliver a warm, friendly greeting with eye contact and helpful assistance in finding additional items • Handle cashier duties with precision – managing cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies • Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks • Support store opening and closing activities as needed • Offer customer support across all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring full operational readiness • Assist pharmacy personnel, potentially working pharmacy shifts for growth and career development • Champion new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people achieve better health Required Qualifications: • At least 16 years of age Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods • Lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently • Close visual acuity for computer work, reading, and detailed inspections Preferred Qualifications: • Previous retail or customer service experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 (Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors) Our people are our future.
