VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Technology Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAM Systems is currently looking for Storage Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: - Minimum 8 years of experience engineering solutions and instrumentation for EMC and HP Storage Area Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and databases - Linux Red Hat, RHCE certifications will be an advantage - Strong NetBackup experience is required - Hand on experience with VMware technologies, VMware Certified Professionals is a plus - Should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical Storage Area Networking (SAN) Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Brocade SAN switches. - Linux and UNIX server infrastructure administration and performing operational support activities (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching troubleshooting, performance tuning. - Oversee NetBackup infrastructure to ensure that best practices are in place and the infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability - Work with the team to restructure the existing backup infrastructure and set a strategic plan for disaster recovery. - Provide technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, and implementation of VMware products and services Terms and conditions: Joining time frame: 30 days. The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Govt Organizations in Qatar.
