About the Role
This role focuses on acquiring new clients among startups throughout the Eastern region of the Americas by leveraging outreach, relationship-building, and solution-selling techniques to meet revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage early-stage companies needing hiring infrastructure
- Conduct discovery calls to assess prospect needs and timelines
- Present tailored solutions that align with startup scaling goals
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead qualification processes
- Manage a high-velocity sales pipeline from initial contact to close
- Deliver product overviews and customized demonstrations
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms appropriate for startup budgets
- Track all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Gather market feedback to inform product development priorities
- Coordinate onboarding handoff to customer success teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Develop territory plans to prioritize high-potential regions
- Build referral relationships with accelerators and venture networks
- Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries
- Use data to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates
- Participate in weekly sales performance reviews
- Stay compliant with internal sales policies and procedures
- Support content creation for startup-focused sales collateral
- Represent the company at virtual and in-person startup events
- Escalate technical or account issues to appropriate internal teams
- Maintain accurate forecasting of expected revenue
- Follow up consistently with prospects through multiple channels
- Adapt communication style for technical and non-technical founders
- Contribute to improving sales playbooks based on field experience
