Responsibilities
- Spearhead a company-wide shift in test automation and quality engineering, collaborating directly with executive leadership.
- Define and drive the long-term strategy for testing infrastructure, emphasizing observability, usability, and AI integration.
- Design and oversee scalable testing frameworks across multiple platforms, reducing reliance on manual processes.
- Integrate artificial intelligence and large language models into testing workflows for test creation, flakiness resolution, and coverage analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure testing initiatives support product and platform objectives.
- Implement standardized testing practices, quality metrics, and automated quality gates throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure quality is seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines to make compliance the easiest path.
- Develop clear, actionable insights into system reliability through centralized dashboards, metrics, and alerting systems.
- Create tools and systems that simplify test creation, execution, and maintenance for development teams.
- Promote engineering practices centered on early testing, testable design, and quality ownership.
