Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ownership of core systems powering route planning, dispatch logic, and real-time tracking, including optimization algorithms and state management.
- Develop high-scale backend services that process and monitor hundreds of thousands of routes in real time, delivering insights to improve vehicle and driver utilization.
- Create intuitive web interfaces and APIs that enable centralized management of route creation, assignment, and delivery tracking across large fleets.
- Deliver integrations with transportation and enterprise resource systems, including legacy platforms like AS/400 and SAP, handling millions of daily route events.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across time zones to align on cohesive, customer-driven product experiences.
- Guide senior engineering talent, influence technical strategy, and improve overall standards for system design and code quality.
- Balance speed of execution with long-term scalability, prioritizing solutions based on measurable customer impact.
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to accelerate feature delivery and incorporate real-world feedback efficiently.
- Promote and exemplify core cultural values—customer focus, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusivity, and teamwork—across global teams and new offices.
