Responsibilities
- Architect systems that efficiently process massive datasets using technologies such as ElasticSearch, Google Firestore, MongoDB Atlas, ClickHouse, and Redis.
- Design, set up, and enhance large SQL (Postgres), MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and ClickHouse clusters handling data volumes from terabytes to petabytes and billions of records.
- Support the development of high-throughput service architectures capable of managing terabytes of data traffic.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize query performance, indexing strategies, memory and CPU utilization, and storage configurations to maintain sub-second response times.
- Build and sustain reusable software frameworks, SDKs, and core platform components using Node.js and GoLang.
- Lead technical design discussions, define engineering best practices, and guide senior engineers to elevate organization-wide technical quality.
- Work closely with product and platform teams to integrate proven data-access methods, uphold service-level agreements, and assess system architecture.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver robust, secure, and maintainable platform features.
- Define and implement data governance policies for backup and recovery, disaster preparedness, security, and compliance across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
