Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and upkeep of highly scalable, efficient, and dependable systems for authentication and authorization, covering login processes, session handling, token generation, and access enforcement.
- Design, propose, and deploy cloud-native identity solutions that support agility, scalability, and adaptability in authentication infrastructure, including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and federated identity.
- Take ownership of the authentication platform and guide its evolution, establishing consistent standards for authentication and authorization across services and client applications.
- Lead technical architecture discussions and provide direction on secure coding practices, design principles, and engineering standards for systems requiring high security.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, security, and compliance, to develop new authentication capabilities that meet customer needs and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Support and mentor mid-level engineers by enhancing their technical expertise and promoting a culture of continuous growth and learning.
- Assess emerging tools, technologies, and trends in identity and access management to identify opportunities for innovation and improved engineering efficiency.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $230,000 - $270,000 per year. Individual compensation varies based on qualifications, experience, and skillset. Equity and benefits are also provided.
