Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader guiding DevOps adoption across engineering groups.
- Set architectural guidelines for infrastructure, deployment automation, and operational efficiency.
- Lead strategic projects to enhance system scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Offer technical mentorship and guidance to software engineers organization-wide.
- Build and refine enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software releases.
- Create automation frameworks that increase deployment quality and release speed.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Promote consistent use of DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and manage highly available cloud platforms on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Lead infrastructure modernization using Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
- Develop cloud-native systems that meet present and future business demands.
- Enhance platform performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Architect and operate enterprise container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Define operational standards and deployment models for Kubernetes workloads.
- Lead projects in orchestration, scalability, observability, and automation.
- Advance cloud-native development and deployment methods across teams.
- Create Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop automated systems for provisioning, configuration, compliance, and operations.
- Strengthen monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response across cloud platforms.
- Advocate for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
- Work with Security teams to enforce cloud security and compliance standards.
- Design systems supporting encryption, identity, access controls, and network security.
- Lead initiatives to improve platform resilience through fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
- Ensure all infrastructure designs comply with security and governance policies.
