Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-volume web applications
- Define and implement backend architecture and technology choices for product domains
- Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Lead efforts in migrating from a monolithic system to a microservices architecture
- Solve advanced technical challenges to transform logistics operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development
- Proven background in backend development and associated technologies
- Strong ability to assess and optimize system efficiency, scalability, and stability
- Hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures, RESTful APIs, unit testing, and system design
- Familiarity with modern web protocols and architectures including HTTP and REST
- Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, and message brokers like RabbitMQ
Nice to Have
- Background in developing large-scale, real-time systems
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
- Active contributions to open source software projects
