About the Role
Design and build foundational systems for authentication and administration, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of core authentication infrastructure
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define secure access patterns
- Improve system reliability and performance for admin-facing services
- Drive best practices in identity management and access control
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
- Support incident resolution and system monitoring for critical systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions across the engineering organization
- Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence
- Evaluate and integrate security improvements into existing workflows
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards
Nice to Have
- Experience with single sign-on implementations
- Background in identity and access management platforms
- Knowledge of regulatory standards like GDPR or SOC2
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Prior work in high-scale, globally distributed systems
