Responsibilities
- Design and build secure authentication and authorization systems using standard protocols including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT
- Create and maintain secure admin interfaces for system management and user control
- Architect scalable microservices for identity and access management with high availability
- Perform security assessments and apply industry best practices to mitigate risks
- Work with distributed teams to define technical standards and implement authentication solutions
- Collaborate with Product teams to align technical implementations with business and customer needs
- Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical mentorship
- Evaluate system performance, detect inefficiencies, and improve authentication processes
- Take part in on-call duties and respond effectively to security incidents
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, design choices, and operational practices
- Stay informed about evolving security threats, authentication methods, and compliance requirements
- Assist in assessing and integrating third-party identity and access management services
