About the Role
This role involves owning the development and expansion of foundational AI/ML platforms and customer-facing services, working within the AI Foundations Team to enable advanced AI capabilities across all product areas. The engineer will collaborate across teams, drive technical strategy, and advance AI solutions in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy large-scale AI systems, including models, pipelines, infrastructure, and user-facing features.
- Shape the technical vision and long-term roadmap for AI capabilities, emphasizing scalability, consistency, reliability, and efficiency.
- Guide and mentor fellow engineers in AI best practices and effective deployment of machine learning systems.
- Partner with Product and Data Science teams to convert business challenges into technical solutions using LLMs, vector databases, ML, and other technologies.
- Identify ways to integrate AI into everyday workflows through iterative experimentation and validated improvements.
- Champion responsible AI development, ensuring products align with organizational values and ethical standards.
- Advance AI as an integrated assistant in daily operations by embedding tested innovations and refining them over time.

The company seeks a Staff Software Engineer to deliver impactful AI solutions that benefit customers and the business. This person will lead the design and scaling of core AI/ML platforms and services as part of the AI Foundations Team, enabling cutting-edge AI across product lines. HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED
The company is committed to fair and equitable pay. The starting salary range is $169,000 to $211,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and qualifications. Full-time employees receive stock options with a vesting schedule and may earn an annual bonus of up to 10% based on company performance.
