Hatch IT is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in AI Data Engineering. You will be responsible for architecting the data foundation required for machine learning models and AI-driven products.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
- Develop systems for data ingestion, processing, labeling, and feature engineering.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility for AI model training and inference.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand data requirements and implement efficient solutions.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and governance strategies for large-scale datasets.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Staff or Principal-level Software Engineer in a data-focused role.
- Deep expertise in building data infrastructure for AI/ML applications in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in distributed data processing frameworks and cloud data services.
- Expert-level skills in data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and data quality tooling.
- Ability to lead technical strategy and mentor other engineers on data engineering best practices.
