Aurora Innovation is hiring a Staff Security Software Engineer to build the foundational security framework for our autonomous vehicle solution. You will architect, design, and implement the Security Software Engineering Validation and Verification (V&V) framework for both Onboard and Offboard components.
What You'll Do
- Architect, design, and implement the Security Software Engineering Validation and Verification (V&V) framework for Onboard and Offboard components.
- Integrate with key systems including the Identity Activation System, Group Management System, Vehicle Secrets Gateway, Trusted Communications Modules, Aurora Control Interface modules, Primary Compute Platforms, Secure Boot and Remote Attestation Systems, and the Credentialer.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- General knowledge in creating and integrating cloud frameworks, build systems, and security with onboard systems.
- Expertise in Software Engineering to design a framework for other engineers to use and support.
- Proficient in Golang with experience in design.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing monitoring systems for frameworks and the CI/CD systems deploying security services.
- Primary coding experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, and REST for offboard components.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with onboard components via network interfaces.
