About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead security assessments across software and infrastructure components
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into product design
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain secure coding standards and security guidelines
- Conduct threat modeling for new and existing systems
- Support incident response efforts related to product security
- Evaluate third-party components for security risks
- Advocate for security best practices across development teams
- Perform code reviews with a focus on security implications
- Design and implement automated security testing tools
- Monitor emerging threats and adjust defenses accordingly
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
- Mentor engineers on security principles and techniques
- Drive adoption of encryption and identity protection mechanisms
- Assist in penetration testing and red team exercises
- Contribute to security architecture for cloud environments
- Maintain awareness of zero-day vulnerabilities and exploits
- Support audit processes and security certifications
- Improve detection and alerting for suspicious activities
