HighLevel is hiring a Staff Product Manager - Social Planner, Ad Manager, Blogs

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the full product lifecycle for Social Planner, Blogs, and Ad Manager, from vision to delivery.
  • Convert organizational goals into measurable objectives, long-term initiatives, and a prioritized 12–18 month roadmap.
  • Discover and validate high-impact customer problems faced by agencies, marketers, and small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Advance Ad Manager into an intelligent, data-centric platform with reduced dependency on third-party APIs and stronger AI integration.
  • Build systems that leverage first-party and performance data to enhance campaign optimization, budget allocation, and audience targeting.
  • Strengthen system resilience by designing smart fallbacks and abstractions to minimize reliance on external API integrations.
  • Implement AI-powered features such as recommendations, automation, and safeguards to improve campaign results and reduce manual effort.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators including campaign effectiveness, time to launch, and adoption of intelligent tools.
  • Lead the evolution of Social Planner as a flagship product capable of competing with top-tier social management platforms.
  • Drive major enhancements to user interface and workflows, including scheduling, approval processes, calendar views, collaboration tools, automations, and comment handling.
  • Lead improvements in analytics and reporting features, such as post-level performance, account insights, and content effectiveness.
  • Enhance administrative controls related to permissions, approvals, governance, and workspace management.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to deliver an intuitive, scalable, and high-quality user experience.
  • Refine the blogging experience to match the usability and familiarity of leading content platforms.
  • Upgrade the content editor to a modern, robust, block-based or WYSIWYG interface with strong reliability.
  • Introduce AI-assisted content workflows for drafting, outlining, rewriting, image suggestions, and internal linking.
  • Strengthen SEO capabilities with on-page guidance, metadata support, schema markup, and optimized publishing processes.
  • Ensure blog functionality integrates seamlessly with other platform components such as funnels, websites, SEO tools, and content planning.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps, well-scoped problem statements, and detailed product specifications.
  • Conduct customer research, data analysis, and experiments to validate both problems and proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering to plan releases, manage scope, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to shape go-to-market strategies, messaging, and product positioning.
  • Equip internal teams with necessary documentation and training materials to support product adoption.
  • Incorporate feedback from the field and market trends rapidly into product planning and iteration.
  • Mentor two associate product managers, setting clear expectations and providing coaching to advance them to mid-level roles.
