What You'll Do
Shape the strategic direction of core platform systems that power product experiences across the organization. Work hand-in-hand with engineering leaders to define and execute a roadmap for foundational domains like authentication, authorization, and identity management, ensuring they support both current needs and future scale.
Translate complex backend capabilities into clear product outcomes, defining requirements, success metrics, and user experience implications. Lead alignment across engineering, security, infrastructure, and design to balance system integrity with usability and trust.
Define and monitor key performance indicators around reliability, security, and developer velocity. Identify architectural gaps, evaluate build versus buy options, and guide decisions that strengthen platform health. Use AI-powered tools to refine discovery, clarify requirements, and improve how product work is done.
Own the end-to-end experience of customer-facing platform features such as login flows and permission controls. Collaborate with design and research to ensure these interactions are intuitive and meet quality standards, while advocating for users within technical constraints.
