HighLevel is hiring a Staff Product Manager - Phone Numbers and A2P

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and delivery of platforms related to application-to-person messaging, regulatory compliance, and phone number infrastructure.
  • Shape and manage the product roadmap for trust, registration, compliance, and number management in messaging services.
  • Improve A2P registration processes to streamline onboarding while increasing approval and activation success.
  • Design scalable systems for brand and campaign registration, vetting, compliance tracking, and carrier coordination.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of phone numbers from acquisition to decommissioning, including provisioning, porting, and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate with telecom and carrier partners to enhance global number availability and communication functionality.
  • Optimize outcomes in registration success, campaign performance, and compliance adherence.
  • Develop frameworks to manage regional carrier policies, regulatory demands, and phone number best practices.
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and operations to stay ahead of evolving communication regulations and standards.
  • Design product policies and experiences that minimize spam, fraud, abuse, and messaging violations.
  • Provide clear metrics and dashboards for registration flows, approval timelines, deliverability, number usage, and compliance.
  • Advance self-service tools for customers managing registrations, phone numbers, and compliance tasks.
  • Automate compliance workflows, exception handling, document validation, and approval procedures.
  • Partner with support and customer success teams to reduce friction and resolve issues faster.
  • Define and track key performance indicators such as registration conversion, approval rates, compliance health, and number utilization.
  • Serve as the primary expert and leader for messaging compliance, A2P registration, and number management across the organization.
  • Own the customer verification and trust onboarding process, including KYC, identity checks, and business validation.
  • Enhance verification systems to enable compliant access to messaging, voice, and regulated communication features.
  • Collaborate with the Persona KYC platform to build scalable identity verification and fraud prevention solutions.
  • Increase verification completion rates, reduce approval times, and improve onboarding conversion while meeting compliance and risk requirements.
