Responsibilities
- Enable advanced integration methods such as scatter-gather workflows and asynchronous execution models
- Develop support for multiple trigger setups and conditional path routing in automation flows
- Enhance debugging functionality with features like mid-process reruns and loop-level log visibility
- Ensure resilient error handling and support for compensating actions in distributed workflows
- Lead innovation in visualizing and managing intricate workflow orchestrations
- Define and execute product strategy for end-to-end automation authoring experiences
- Set priorities for future builder capabilities, including AI-driven copilot features and smart debugging tools
- Advocate for user-centered design to create intuitive experiences across skill levels
- Promote adoption of advanced patterns such as multi-trigger logic and promise-based workflows
- Integrate AI-powered assistance to speed up development with intelligent suggestions and pattern detection
- Design proactive error identification and resolution guidance to improve success rates
- Apply machine learning to deliver context-aware help and recommendations based on usage patterns
- Collaborate with AI research groups to embed intelligence into the development interface
- Own the high-level view of managing interconnected assets to promote reusability and collaboration
- Deliver granular debugging tools for inspecting individual steps, loops, and data manipulations
- Implement strong testing capabilities during design to catch issues before deployment
- Build reliable undo/redo systems, draft controls, and autosave functions to safeguard user progress
- Work closely with engineering, UX, and architecture teams to ensure cohesive builder experiences
- Coordinate with Platform Experience Product Management to maintain consistency across tools
- Engage customer success and support teams to identify challenges and refine solutions
- Represent the needs of builders, advocating for both technical and non-technical users across the organization

Compensation
For California applicants, the pay for this role may range between $180,000 - $240,000 plus benefits, perks, and equity. The final package will depend on the interview process, we're open to negotiation.
