Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with product, engineering, data, and UX research teams to shape team direction, guide key product choices, and influence roadmaps for large-scale initiatives.
- Define and lead the long-term user experience strategy for a specific domain, guiding end-to-end design execution from early concepts to polished, high-fidelity solutions in uncertain or evolving contexts.
- Contribute to UX leadership by working with design managers and senior peers to maintain consistent, high-quality design practices across the organization.
- Inform and guide product decisions using both qualitative feedback and quantitative data, aligning user needs with measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrate mastery in at least two core design disciplines—such as interaction, visual design, or prototyping—and develop innovative information architectures and design patterns that raise the bar.
- Help evolve the design system by contributing to its growth, guiding teammates in its use, and improving standards and documentation.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, scalable, and adapted to real-world implementation constraints.
- Build strong partnerships across functions to improve planning, prioritization, and delivery of impactful user experiences.
- Mentor and guide designers at all levels, from junior to senior, through feedback, coaching, and upholding excellence in design execution.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture by leading effective workshops and presentations that align stakeholders and clarify design reasoning.
