Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes including discovery, UX, visual design, prototyping, and final delivery for key product areas
- Transform intricate user problems into intuitive, systems-driven design solutions
- Create workflows and systems that align usability, scalability, and engineering limitations
- Balance immediate product needs with long-term experience quality and evolution
- Design with a forward-looking perspective, ensuring resilience through anticipated product and technical changes over 2–3 years
- Advocate consistently for user needs and experience quality, ensuring design decisions are rooted in user problems and insights
- Conduct and contribute to user research, usability testing, and concept validation
- Leverage both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to shape and refine design direction
- Promote principles of simplicity, clarity, and inclusive access in all design outputs
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to shape the strategic vision of the product
- Introduce and demonstrate new design collaboration tools and workshop methods through active projects
- Engage with Customer Success, Sales, and other teams to integrate real-world user insights into design work
- Help establish and advance high standards for design quality and execution
- Demonstrate and teach effective design thinking and systems thinking practices across the organization
- Provide constructive, high-level critique to elevate the quality of design across initiatives
- Collaborate with the design team to define a unified design philosophy, including shared approaches to user experience, user-centricity, accessibility, and AI integration
