Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of a scalable, automated system for detecting fraud and financial crime, balancing security with customer experience and cost efficiency.
- Ensure detection models remain effective and responsive to emerging fraud patterns over time.
- Deliver high-impact machine learning solutions with strong technical leadership.
- Identify top-priority areas across the FinCrime team and lead the creation of technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and designers in an agile workflow.
- Guide senior stakeholders and contribute to shaping long-term FinCrime strategy.
- Elevate technical standards and practices within the machine learning function.
- Partner across departments to define and prioritize machine learning opportunities in fraud prevention.
- Advance detection capabilities using deep learning, graph networks, and sequence modeling techniques.
- Mentor team members and exemplify best practices to strengthen machine learning expertise.
- Collaborate with MLOps to improve tooling for faster model iteration and full lifecycle optimization.
