Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build secure, scalable features that provide exceptional customer experiences
- Take ownership in shaping frontend technical direction by leading the frontend guild and partnering with platform engineering
- Establish benchmarks for frontend code quality, emphasizing accessibility, usability, and performance
- Guide technical planning for complex initiatives, prioritizing incremental and reliable value delivery
- Promote effective agile practices and support the creation of well-defined, estimated user stories and epics
- Support security-first development by applying shift-left principles and engaging in security efforts
- Lead responses during system incidents and critical outages
- Drive efforts to reduce technical debt and ensure new features include testing, monitoring, and observability
- Conduct thorough and constructive code reviews through pull request evaluation
- Serve as a mentor and role model for less experienced engineers
