Responsibilities
- Define and align technical vision for frontend development across multiple teams, ensuring cohesion among engineers, product, design, and leadership.
- Guide product roadmaps and engineering investments by linking frontend strategy to business results, delivery risks, and user impact.
- Champion engineering excellence by evolving real estate frontend architecture, improving service level agreements, and anticipating system-wide effects in collaboration with principal engineers.
- Serve as a go-to expert for frontend topics across global teams, influencing how digital experiences are developed at the organizational level.
- Represent frontend engineering in strategic discussions, enabling informed long-term technical decisions across functions and leadership tiers.
- Develop and maintain reusable frontend libraries, components, and tools—such as design systems and performance monitoring solutions—with an emphasis on practicality and broad adoption.
- Lead complex, multi-system refactors and migrations, including framework updates and cross-product standardization efforts.
- Mentor engineers through hands-on coaching, pair programming, and structured feedback, identifying skill gaps and organizing training programs.
- Foster a constructive, blameless feedback culture that supports conflict resolution and professional growth.
- Evaluate and enhance team and cross-team workflows to increase focus, quality, and delivery speed.
- Remain actively involved in coding while amplifying team performance through leadership, guidance, and systemic improvements.
Requirements
- Expert+ level within the engineering career framework
- Proven track record of technical leadership with enterprise-wide impact
- Experience shaping frontend architecture and leading shared frontend initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects across multiple teams
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with engineers, product managers, designers, and executives
- Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
- History of advancing engineering best practices in testing, monitoring, observability, and security
- Proficiency with Vue.js, React, and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and S3
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms, particularly Datadog
- Ability to work under a hybrid model based in Ho Chi Minh City
- Vietnamese citizenship

- Experience implementing server-side rendering, pre-rendering, or hybrid web application patterns
