Arcadia is looking for a Staff FHIR Gateway Engineer to join our Engineering department. You will be a key contributor to our technical strategy and implementation for healthcare data interoperability using FHIR standards.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust FHIR gateway infrastructure for secure data exchange.
- Lead the architectural decisions and implementation of FHIR-based APIs and services.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate healthcare interoperability requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and compliance of data exchange systems.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to internal technical standards.
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level experience designing and implementing FHIR-based systems in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of HL7 FHIR standards, profiles, and implementation guides.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-volume, secure API gateways.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
