Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NetSuite engineering initiatives, defining high-quality system architectures while directly contributing through SuiteScript development and custom solution building.
- Design, modify, and enhance NetSuite components to meet intricate international business needs, with emphasis on Fixed Asset Management, Landed Cost, General Ledger, Intercompany processes, and Payables.
- Create, deploy, and support reliable, high-efficiency integrations and data automation workflows connecting NetSuite with Coupa as part of the procurement infrastructure.
- Improve financial and supply chain operations by applying SuiteFlow and SuiteScript (2.0/2.1) to enable broad automation across the organization.
- Implement strong security frameworks and audit compliance by configuring role-based access, data protection rules, and SOX-aligned controls.
- Collaborate with product management, data platforms, sourcing, and finance stakeholders to convert business needs into dependable technical implementations.
- Define and uphold strict coding and architectural standards, including peer review practices, to ensure system reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Guide and support junior and mid-tier developers through technical mentorship and leadership within the ERP engineering function.
- Monitor NetSuite’s twice-yearly updates, assess new capabilities, analyze system impacts, and suggest improvements to reduce manual effort.
- Build and refine CI/CD pipelines using NetSuite SDF and GitHub to support version-controlled customization, automated releases, and structured change control in large-scale ERP systems.
- Take part in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure continuity of production systems and services.
- Diagnose and resolve live system issues, service disruptions, and urgent alerts during on-call periods.
- Escalate critical problems when appropriate and work with team members to restore functionality quickly.
- Record incident details and help implement fixes that prevent repeat occurrences.
- Be prepared to offer limited support outside standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when on call.
