- Create scalable security controls that support organizational growth without compromising efficiency or user experience.
- Champion the integration of artificial intelligence in security operations, including large language model-powered investigation tools and automated threat detection.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities for security processes using scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and orchestration technologies.
- Engineer self-correcting security mechanisms capable of identifying, reacting to, and resolving threats with limited human input.
- Lead security architecture evaluations and risk analyses for infrastructure changes, SaaS integrations, and data protection efforts.
- Perform threat modeling for emerging technologies and business projects to ensure security is embedded early in development.
- Establish and maintain enterprise security standards and architectural blueprints to guide technology decisions.
- Produce reusable security frameworks and templates to speed up secure service deployment.
- Influence the long-term vision and strategic direction of enterprise security architecture and technology planning.
- Collaborate with Incident Response, IT, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Develop security monitoring, telemetry, and investigative systems to improve threat detection and response effectiveness.
- Promote a security-conscious culture through training, tool development, and joint problem-solving initiatives.
- Guide and support junior engineers in areas such as security design, threat analysis, and defensive techniques.
- Elevate team expertise through code and design reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge transfer sessions.
