This position is seeking a Staff Engineer in the United States, offering an opportunity to contribute to critical environmental and geotechnical initiatives. The role demands a professional who can provide technical expertise and comprehensive field support, ensuring high-quality project deliverables through meticulous data analysis and client collaboration. The ideal candidate will engage in sophisticated environmental assessments, conducting comprehensive fieldwork involving soil, sediment, and water sampling, along with monitoring well installations and remediation system management. Responsibilities encompass performing environmental due diligence inspections, preparing customized reports, and providing rigorous project oversight. Accountabilities include: · Executing environmental and geotechnical fieldwork across diverse sampling domains · Conducting Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments · Managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strict quality standards · Collaborating with clients and internal teams on technical challenges · Applying advanced critical thinking to analyze data and recommend cost-effective solutions · Maintaining precise documentation and supporting team communication · Traveling locally and regionally to project sites (up to 40%) Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field · 3–5 years of professional experience in environmental or geotechnical engineering · Strong background in consulting projects and regulatory compliance · Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and field data collection tools · Exceptional communication and technical documentation skills · Ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively Preferred certifications include Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Geologist-in-Training (GIT), 40-hour HAZWOPER.
