Responsibilities
- Design and deploy event-driven, serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge
- Champion Infrastructure as Code by utilizing Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation for consistent and repeatable deployments
- Develop and refine CI/CD workflows to support rapid and stable software releases
- Create automation tools and scripts in Python, Bash, or Go to streamline operational and deployment processes
- Enforce cloud security standards including IAM policies, secure handling of secrets, and adherence to compliance requirements
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to enhance system scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while establishing organization-wide DevOps practices
- Engage in on-call duties focused on diagnosing and resolving critical production incidents
