- Develop foundational infrastructure to support an AI-first design practice

- Create a robust token system, component library, documentation, and usage guidelines compatible with AI development tools
- Advance the design system to serve as core infrastructure for AI-assisted development workflows
- Influence the visual and behavioral identity of the product in an AI-driven environment
- Collaborate within the product design team to redefine the product for conversational, agent-based, and adaptive interfaces
- Leverage strong design intuition and engineering expertise to deliver cohesive, high-quality AI-powered experiences
- Serve as the primary link between design and engineering teams
- Develop systems that ensure design and code remain aligned throughout development
- Define quality and readiness standards as AI tools take on more coding responsibilities
- Work directly in the codebase to implement improvements
- Submit and merge pull requests that enhance the product
- Amplify engineering output through design-enabled systems, eliminating bottlenecks
- Establish prototyping and AI tooling infrastructure
- Build tools and workflows enabling designers and product managers to create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes with real components and working code
- Pinpoint inefficiencies in design-to-engineering handoffs and implement AI-driven solutions to close gaps
- Set and exemplify high standards for craftsmanship
- Demonstrate excellence through shipped work, not just documentation
- Empower designers to work closer to code and help engineers adopt better, reusable components
- Anticipate shifts in engineering, product, and design workflows due to AI and guide responsible integration
