Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand and elasticity models to quantify how price affects volume across destinations, durations, data tiers, and customer segments.
- Create machine learning models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay, then deploy them to production with ongoing monitoring and retraining.
- Advance from predictive to prescriptive analytics by building an optimization layer that converts forecasts and elasticities into recommended prices under margin, competitive, and partner constraints.
- Design and analyze pricing experiments with statistical rigor, applying causal methods when clean randomization is not feasible.
- Define pricing within the data ecosystem, owning governed definitions of price, cost, and package economics used by reporting, analysis, and product surfaces.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to link pricing decisions to margin and revenue, and to size opportunities before commitment.
- Set the analytical standard for pricing at the company, from evidence criteria to validation of models and recommendations before they influence live pricing.
