Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for experimentation, setting organization-wide standards and governance frameworks.
- Establish prioritization models for experiments and define guardrail metrics to ensure reliable and ethical testing practices.
- Lead statistical methodology across teams, implementing advanced techniques such as CUPED, sequential testing, and incrementality measurement.
- Improve decision speed by applying methods that account for network effects, marketplace dynamics, and quasi-experimental designs.
- Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to strengthen hypothesis formulation, test design, and metric selection.
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts in experimentation best practices.
- Create educational resources, playbooks, and regular support sessions to institutionalize a culture of experimentation.
- Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure in partnership with engineering teams to support reliable experiment tracking.
- Enhance data quality standards for exposure logging and ensure robust integration with analytics platforms like Amplitude.
- Optimize marketplace performance through targeted experimentation in search, recommendations, and personalization systems.
- Drive innovation in measuring liquidity, supply-demand balance, and seller growth using rigorous experimental methods.
- Support trust, safety, and monetization initiatives with tailored testing frameworks and statistical rigor.
- Mentor data professionals and product teams to elevate overall analytical maturity across the organization.
