Kong is hiring a Staff Customer Success Manager

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries initiated through inbound channels.
  • Assist new customers during onboarding by assessing their requirements, project timelines, risks, and potential obstacles.
  • Promote product adoption by conducting live demonstrations and leading technical workshops.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of product implementation through structured health assessments.
  • Capture, represent, and record customer-specific use cases, system architecture, and future plans.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and develop new applications for the API platform.
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships, positioning as a reliable technical advisor.
  • Provide technical expertise during renewal or expansion discussions when requested by Sales or Renewal teams.
  • Oversee and resolve escalated customer issues related to products and services.
  • Apply a structured maturity model to manage and advance customer accounts.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
