Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders using collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, and GitHub, taking ownership of communication and proactively flagging risks or seeking assistance
- Guide decision-making in alignment with the impact and timeline of each decision, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are included
- Promote open, constructive dialogue by advocating ideas while remaining open to feedback, supporting critical analysis and a culture of continuous input
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to develop solutions that balance practicality, user needs, and technical feasibility
- Develop robust backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and AI technologies, adhering to rigorous code review practices
- Manage deployment and operations of services across AWS staging and production environments
- Enhance system reliability through comprehensive testing, observability, monitoring, and automated deployment pipelines
- Take part in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and resolution
- Continuously assess and refine team workflows through regular retrospectives and iterative improvements

The team comprises engineers with diverse expertise in frontend, backend, and infrastructure. While this position emphasizes backend and cloud integration development, familiarity with frontend code is expected.
