About the Role
This role is for a hands-on leader who combines technical depth in AI with product intuition to drive the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions that solve real user problems while maintaining high standards for performance, safety, and usability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-driven product features from concept to production
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define AI use cases
- Design and implement machine learning models that scale across diverse user environments
- Ensure AI systems are explainable, fair, and aligned with user needs
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and platforms when appropriate
- Maintain high standards for data quality and model performance
- Conduct experiments to validate AI feature effectiveness
- Translate complex technical outcomes into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Advocate for ethical AI practices across product development
- Mentor engineers and product teams in AI best practices
- Stay current with advancements in AI research and industry trends
- Balance innovation with operational reliability and technical debt management
- Define success metrics for AI features and monitor post-launch performance
- Work closely with data scientists to refine training datasets
- Optimize inference pipelines for speed and cost efficiency
- Support the creation of internal tools for model monitoring and debugging
- Drive alignment between AI capabilities and product roadmaps
- Identify opportunities where automation can improve user workflows
- Ensure compliance with privacy standards in AI data handling
