Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of sophisticated natural language parsing systems that interpret user queries, resolve uncertainties, and determine underlying intentions
- Develop and implement ranking models trained on user behavior, semantic embeddings, and structured feedback to improve result relevance
- Design and scale pipelines for identifying and classifying entities to improve document comprehension and context-aware search
- Build modern search architectures that handle rapidly changing document sets and support real-time indexing
- Develop knowledge graphs that enrich large language models with structured relational data
- Advance query transformation, intent detection, and semantic matching using both traditional statistics and deep learning techniques
- Design comprehensive evaluation systems for measuring relevance, running A/B tests, and refining models iteratively
- Partner with product and research teams to convert user requirements into data-driven search solutions
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code and shape architectural decisions across search and platform systems
