Responsibilities
- Design and oversee full lifecycle data platform architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and integration with machine learning systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Scale data infrastructure progressively by implementing controlled deployment strategies and defining key data quality benchmarks to support growing user demand without disrupting live systems.
- Convert strategic business objectives into technical initiatives by clarifying requirements, scoping problems, drafting technical proposals, and organizing work into executable project plans.
- Define and maintain engineering excellence standards across testing, evaluation, monitoring, data interface agreements, and security protocols, balancing rapid development with long-term product sustainability.
- Elevate team capabilities through architecture guidance, pattern documentation, mentorship of senior engineers, and knowledge sharing via code reviews, pair programming, and written materials.
- Thrive in a dynamic startup setting: adaptable, proactive in establishing processes, and focused on reliability without overcomplicating solutions.
- Lead cross-functional coordination between AI engineering, software development, DevOps, product, and design teams to develop innovative AI-driven products, while mentoring junior staff and promoting a collaborative culture.
