Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable tasks such as reviewing invoices, proper coding, and coordinating with vendors
- Assist with accounts receivable functions including billing, tracking payments, and resolving inconsistencies
- Collaborate on collection initiatives and work with internal teams to address overdue balances
- Keep financial records precise and ensure all supporting documentation is maintained
- Work closely with Finance and Go-To-Market teams to support billing and revenue processes linked to Salesforce
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of customer, contract, and billing information across platforms
- Support reconciliation between Salesforce and accounting systems to ensure reliable revenue reporting
- Contribute to enhancing processes and strengthening data integrity in finance and revenue systems
- Create journal entries and carry out account reconciliations
- Gradually take on responsibilities within the monthly financial closing cycle
- Help prepare financial statements and internal reporting materials
- Support the integrity and correctness of financial data
- Assist in compiling schedules and documentation required for tax submissions
- Aid in external audits by preparing records and responding to auditor inquiries
- Help uphold compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures
- Ensure financial data and accounting systems remain accurate and up to date
- Identify areas for workflow automation and reduction of manual effort using technology and AI tools
- Support the rollout of improvements in accounting and revenue operations
- Document accounting procedures and ensure consistent adherence to established processes
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related area
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline
- Solid grasp of fundamental accounting concepts
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger functions
- Familiarity with CRM systems through direct use or support roles
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
- Interest in leveraging automation, systems, or AI to enhance efficiency
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines effectively
- Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience using Salesforce
