Responsibilities
- Support all stages of concrete tasks such as forming, pouring, and finishing
- Construct, install, and remove concrete forms according to project specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials for formwork
- Finish and detail concrete surfaces to meet commercial quality standards
- Read and follow project plans and layout drawings
- Install and align form systems to ensure correct placement and structural integrity
- Interpret blueprints to accurately position forms per project specifications
- Handle and move materials as needed on the job site
- Use hand and power tools to achieve specified surface texture and finish
- Follow instructions from foremen and crew leads
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Verify surface grades, slopes, and elevations to ensure proper drainage and finish quality
- Erect and dismantle shoring and scaffolding systems according to project and safety requirements
