Resilient Co was looking for a SSRS Admin

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SSRS instances deployed on Azure virtual machines using IaaS models
  • Configure and manage clustered SSRS environments with load balancing for distributed traffic handling
  • Plan and carry out SSRS version updates, system patching, and environment migrations
  • Handle encryption key lifecycle including backup, restoration, and synchronization across cluster nodes
  • Enforce security policies using role-based access controls, Active Directory integration, and secure credential storage
  • Design and maintain automated pipelines for deploying SSRS components across development, testing, and production
  • Ensure deployment consistency with version control, rollback capabilities, and one-click release options for report developers
  • Diagnose and resolve reporting issues by identifying root causes in rendering, query performance, or infrastructure delays
  • Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and set up alerts for report execution, subscriptions, and resource usage
  • Establish and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for ReportServer databases and encryption keys
  • Verify deployment integrity using automated smoke tests and report execution validation
  • Serve as the main contact for production issues, leading incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
