Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ownership of monitoring strategies for POS and mobile application platforms.
- Create and deploy monitoring dashboards using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Firebase Crashlytics, New Relic, and Uptime Kuma.
- Implement comprehensive observability across infrastructure, applications, and third-party integrations including payment, ERP, and CRM systems.
- Develop structured alerting systems with defined severity tiers and escalation protocols.
- Automate incident detection processes to reduce resolution time.
- Ensure monitoring extends to critical business operations such as sales, payments, promotions, and settlements.
- Work closely with support, L2/L3, and DevOps teams to conduct root cause analysis and prevent future incidents.
- Integrate monitoring systems with ticketing platforms like ServiceNow and JIRA for automatic incident logging.
- Evaluate and enhance current monitoring tools while identifying opportunities for new solutions.
- Guide and train junior monitoring engineers, promoting knowledge transfer within the team.
- Track and report key performance indicators related to monitoring, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
