Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end QA responsibilities for game features across mobile platforms
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, reviews, retrospectives), providing timely updates and feedback
- Identify, log, track, and prioritize defects, ensuring a well-maintained and actionable bug database
- Support QA team members within the assigned pod, ensuring alignment with processes, priorities, and deliverables
- Adhere to established QA processes and best practices, while contributing to continuous process improvement
- Communicate effectively with overseas clients and stakeholders regarding QA status, risks, and delivery commitments
- Mentor and guide junior QA testers, supporting skill development and maintaining quality standards
- Serve as a backup for QA Leads, handling team coordination, task ownership, and decision making when required
Requirements
- 3+ Years as QA, with 1+ Years experience as Senior
- Hands-on testing experience on Mobile platforms
- Extensive hands-on experience playing a wide variety of games, especially mobile games
- Strong understanding of key features and functionality of Android and iOS platforms
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Highly organized, with strong time management skills and accountability
- Willingness to work overtime on weekdays or weekends based on project requirements
- Proactive, self-drive, and willing to continuously learn and adapt
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment while managing multiple priorities
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and game development pipelines
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong passion for games with a deep understanding of gaming mechanics and player experience
- Must be flexible to work in shift timings: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Nice to Have
- PC & Console experience is a bonus
- AR game testing experience is preferred
- Team management experience
