Responsibilities
- Deploy infrastructure systems and components including hardware, servers, software, and appliances to support business and IT applications.
- Independently perform implementations covering installation, configuration, updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Analyze, diagnose, isolate, and identify system issues.
- Develop temporary solutions to alleviate problem symptoms.
- Determine root causes and create or execute long-term remediation plans.
- Contribute to compliance tasks such as reporting, baselines, and verifications.
- Participate in application development by reviewing non-functional requirements and proposing, designing, and delivering supporting infrastructure.
- Occasionally manage small IT projects or provide technical leadership to oversee architecture design and validation for relevant system deliveries.
- Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
- Initiate, promote, and exemplify best practices in capacity, asset/inventory, configuration, updates, procurement, and vendor engagement.
- Develop, design, test, and document improvement solutions and processes like scripting, automation, and workflow to enhance system efficiency, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Demonstrate core values of people, service excellence, trustworthiness, process simplicity, and product value.
- Interact cordially and professionally with customers, vendors, superiors, and peers.
- Maintain regular attendance on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
- Perform various marginal functions as needed.
