NETGEAR is hiring a Sr Systems Engineer - Broadcast

Responsibilities

  • Establish and sustain deep technical relationships with broadcast equipment manufacturers including Riedel, EVS, Clear-Com, Panasonic, and Grass Valley.
  • Engage in co-developed solutions and act as a technical representative in discussions with partner organizations.
  • Architect, verify, and assist deployment of broadcast workflows involving AES67, Dante, Ravenna, NDI, ST2110, IPMX, and PTP-dependent systems.
  • Oversee lab environments, test platforms, and demo setups to align with broadcast engineering and production expectations.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Alliance teams to uncover new business prospects and support key clients and integrators.
  • Support proposal creation, attend client meetings, and ensure inclusion in initial system design phases.
  • Develop technical training materials for regional systems engineering teams.
  • Produce documentation for both internal and external use.
  • Assist in certification initiatives and partner enablement programs.
  • Work closely with Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering to relay field insights, highlight missing features, and escalate requirements related to switching, firmware, multicast, QoS, redundancy, PTP precision, and control system integrations.
  • Attend major industry events such as NAB, IBC, and InfoComm.
  • Support development of white papers, technical guides, and real-world use case studies.
  • Present solutions to media and industry analysts.
  • Help establish the company as a trusted expert during the broadcast industry’s shift to IP infrastructure.
