Reliable Robotics is hiring a Sr. System Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Own vehicle level projects through the planning, design, and testing phases of development.
  • Own a large breadth of projects from primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, hardware in the loop testing, ground station development, and integration with the software and human machine interface teams.
  • Guide the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects with significant ownership of which aircraft functions are the highest priority to be integrated and tested on vehicle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 8+ Years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Experience using system design fundamentals
  • Experience reading electrical wiring schematics
  • Experience testing systems for proper performance
  • Experience writing and running code
  • Excellent project management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing a system architecture and weighing design options to accomplish specific system requirements
  • Experience performing vehicle safety assessments, risk assessments, and contingency management
  • Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment
  • Excellent measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
  • Eagerness to both teach and learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as a leader of a high performing team
