Visa is hiring a Sr. SW Engineer

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, Texas to: - Utilize Python for data engineering tasks, streamlining data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes to ensure robust data pipelines and efficient data management. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications for real-time streaming, including technologies like Apache Kafka and JAVA/J2EE. - Build automated tests and enable continuous delivery of platform components utilizing Angular and Node for full stack manageability tools. - Collaborate with junior members to guide design reviews, development, and code reviews. - Write and document procedures for development, deployment, and maintenance. - Work closely with technology partners across programs to conceive, design, and create unique front-end and mobile capabilities. - Optimize data processing code for performance across multiple platforms and environments within the Big Data Technology stack (Hadoop, NoSQL, etc.). - Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
